The Fauquier Excellence In Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) located in Fauquier County, Virginia.
We support over 11,000 students and 1,800 educators in
11 elementary, 5 middle, 3 high schools and one alternative school.
We create programs and experiences for all students,
support teacher and administrator needs,
and build a bridge between our community and our schools.
We are so grateful for your on-going support. In 2020, we were unable to host important fundraisers and we are uncertain about events for 2021. In order to build a strong and sustainable Foundation, and continue to provide programs and services for Fauquier County Public Schools, we welcome donations all year long. You can donate directly to a program that you would like to support, or make a general donation that allows us to direct funds where they are most-needed and that will have the greatest impact.
Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

OUR 2020 PROGRAMS:

My First Book Club -Designed for preschool students to improve literacy, develop a love of reading and promote peer interaction, each month students receive a new book for classroom and at-home reading. Teachers set individual reading goals and read together in a group setting. Students receive book bins to build their first home library. For some students, these are the first books they have ever owned. Your annual donation will give a child a new book every month, including a Holiday gift and two books for summer reading.
Educator Grants - For over 30 years the Foundation has provided grants to dedicated Fauquier County public school teachers, educators and administrators to enable them to participate in high-quality professional development that directly impacts their classroom teaching. Your donation supports teacher participation in conferences, seminars, research, cultural programs and summer institutes by covering registration fees, travel, course materials and other related costs. For many teachers, they could not participate without this financial support.

Transitions: Transitions provides hands-on work experience and life skills for special education students ages 18-22 in Fauquier County Public Schools, and helps prepare students for a full and satisfying life after high school. In 2020, Transitions teacher Vicki Tippett passed away. She dedicated her life to her students, and in lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Transitions.
